During the renovation of Studio and Salle M, Bozar collaborates with the temporary cultural hub Reset to present a sequence of 10 concerts of electronic music. These sensory spectacles unfold within the intimate ambiance of Reset's Auditorium, reminiscent of 70s Scandinavian style architecture. Each time, an international artist shares the bill with a local must see.
The influences found in Laurel Halo's compositions lead as a trail of crumbs to the techno of her hometown Detroit, taking a sidetrack to musique concrète and ending up on the main road to jazz. At Reset, she will present her latest album Atlas, with cellist Leila Bordreuil at her side. Pitchfork poetically hailed Atlas: ‘a beautiful collection of minimalist ambient compositions in which no line extends for long without dissolving into an inky blot.’
Behind the music of Radio Hito, in Italian no less, balances a multi-talented artist: Zen My Nguyen from Brussels. A graduate in both typography and classical piano, she carefully pens her sounds in a unique style, always looking for the balance between discomfort and hospitality, between experimentation and familiarity. Two artists who incorporate the acoustic piano - with all possible distortions of its sound -will continue the Bozar X Reset series next season.
