From Paris to New York
Following the premiere of his Piano Concerto in London’s Barbican Centre, the audience gave Brad Mehldau an ecstatic standing ovation. In this fantastic work, he implements a number of exquisite improvisations within the architecture of a classical concerto. Before this builder of bridges between classical music and jazz performs his concerto in Belgium for the first time, the Belgian National Orchestra will whet your appetite with some orchestral arrangements of Debussy’s poetic Préludes for piano.
