‘Brad Mehldau Residency’

The "most influential jazz pianist of the last two decades" (according to The New York Times) is playing 3 concerts at Bozar as part of the Klarafestival. Brad Mehldau reveals his love for musical diversity in three different styles: a symphonic concert - his own Piano Concerto! - with the Belgian National Orchestra (24 March), a duo with tenor Ian Bostridge (23 March) in the German Lieder repertoire, and finally, as a soloist (25 March), in a quest for simplicity and purity in his most familiar territory, improvisation.
