Combining ethnic traditions with refined costuming, Brigham Young University’s International Folk Dance Ensemble (IFDE) presents dances from around the world while highlighting the cultural heritage of the United States.
Its repertoire spans Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Caribbean, performed by students selected through a competitive audition process.
Hosted by the European Union & International Affairs Office of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this event has become an annual tradition in Brussels, eagerly anticipated by diplomats, EU institutions, and the wider public.
Families are welcome; children should be able to remain seated and attentive for the 90‑minute performance.
