‘Chris Marker and the animals: a conversation with Vinciane Despret, Jean-Michel Frodon and Julien Pieron’

Cats, owls, penguins, camels and other animals regularly appear in Chris Marker’s work. Vinciane Despret (ethologist, philosopher and psychologist at the University of Liège), Jean-Michel Frodon (critic and film historian, associate curator of the Chris Marker. Memories of the Future exhibition) and Julien Pieron (philosopher, Marker aficionado and lecturer at the University of Liège) will come together to discuss the depiction of animals in Marker’s work.
