Adja Fassa is a singer, composer and theatre-maker, who also writes and performs. She studied jazz and singing at the conservatory in Leuven, and trained as a theatre artist, where she laid the foundations of her own unique style, combining singing, theater and physical performance. Recently, she created her first musical and spoken performance, entitled Adjabet, chapter I, the first part of an interdisciplinary trilogy. From an early age, Adja Fassa has wanted to understand the deepest layers of the human heart, in search of what exactly lies at the core of a soul. These elements form the basis of her own language: an alphabet of movements, smells, sounds and texts.
