Catalan pianist Marco Mezquida forges classical music and modern jazz together with amazing naturalness. The beautiful new trio album Letter to Milos came about in the first year of Mezquida's son's life. It is an ode to his child and covers all the musical styles he immersed himself in that year. From Latin to progressive pop music, but also romantic music, such as that of Brahms. And traditional styles from his homeland, such as corrido maragato, ajechao, sorteao and bulería.
