The famous ensembles Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía and Compañía Úrsula López join forces to reinvent the spectacular El Maleficio de le Mariposa (1920) by the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca. What we will see, however, is not a journey back in time: the costumes, music and scenery are contemporary, revealing a cutting-edge vision. The symbolism, group choreographies by Úrsula López and the timelessness of the play are what remain.
