Orchestre National de Lille under the direction of Maestro Bertie Baigent.
Stéphanie Huang, laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition and Public Prize 2022, will perform Edward Elgar's cello concerto. It was the favorite work of Jacqueline du Pré, who died of MS in 1987. Next, and without intermission, the orchestra will perform Franz Schubert's magnificent 8th symphony, also called "the Unfinished."
