Conservamus Symphony Orchestra

Three years ago, the Conservamus non-profit organisation launched an ambitious musical adventure: the creation of the Conservamus Symphony Orchestra. This unique ensemble forms an inspiring bridge between the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, bringing together the young talents of both institutions on a single stage.

Following three successful editions, the orchestra takes the stage this year under the inspiring direction of internationally renowned conductor Christoph Altstaedt.

The orchestra takes you on an explosive musical journey through works by Guillaume Lekeu, Claude Debussy and Igor Stravinsky. From Lekeu’s Romantic expression and Debussy’s vibrant evocation of Spain to Stravinsky’s revolutionary The Rite of Spring: three masterpieces that pushed boundaries and transformed the course of symphonic music.

The Conservamus Symphony Orchestra promises an evening of energy, refinement and sheer orchestral power, brought to life by the young musicians of the two Royal Conservatories, brought together by the Conservamus non-profit organisation.
