Semyon Bychkov - Katia & Marielle Labèque

This event can not take place due to the latest restrictions regarding COVID-19.

Four-handed piano requires perfect complicity between both players. It is understandable why Katia and Marielle Labèque have made it their favourite passtime. After a symphonic performance by Bryce Dessner, composer and member of the band The National, the piano sisters will delight the audience with Mozart’s cheerful Concerto No. 10 for Two Pianos, performed with the prestigious Czech Philharmonic and its conductor Semyon Bychkov. It is also an opportunity to hear this renowned orchestra perform the New World Symphony! Composed in the United States by Antonín Dvořák, who yearned for his native Bohemia, this brilliant work is steeped in Native American, Afro-American and Czech influences. Vienna, Prague and New York meet in Brussels for an exceptional musical evening.
