‘Deep See Blue Surrounding You w/ Flavien Berger, Lafawndah, Laure Prouvost’

Laure Prouvost’s film Deep See Blue Surrounding You / Vois Ce Bleu Profond Te Fondre was presented at the French Pavilion of the 58th Venice Biennale. Tinged with utopia and surrealism, the project discloses an escapist journey towards an ideal elsewhere. At Bozar, the screening of the film will be accompanied by performances from its characters, and followed by two unique concerts by the musicians who composed the soundtrack: Lafawndah and Flavien Berger. Lafawndah’s compositions are underpinned by dramatic rhythms and powerful basslines, and her blend of club music and popular song delivers a thrilling, erotic and ultra-modern result. Flavien Berger, a much-loved hybrid artist on the French music scene, performs the soundtrack to the film, whose single Deep See Blue Song was released in the autumn of 2019 on the Parisian label Pan European Recording.
