Flamenco has grown into a diverse art, one that likes to flirt with other styles and genres. At the same time, the original traditional flamenco certainly remains an artform worth discovering. It is also a real skill, one that is handed down in families from generation to generation. During the Brusselas Flamenco Festival we will be putting the spotlight on some of these families. In the past we have already discovered the Reyes and Moneo families, and now it is the turn of the Sordera clan. The performance has its origin in certain cantes but has evolved into an avant-garde flamenco with some of the most talented members of La Casa de los Sordera.
