In the frame of the exhibition "Spanish Still Life"

Silence is capital.  For Carlos Mena, it enables us "to hear" the echo of the images we’re contemplating within ourselves. On the occasion of the exhibition Spanish Still Life. The Spanish countertenor and his Capilla de Música Santa Maria invite you to expand the synesthetic experience of still life by listening to musical works which evoke the universe of an art gallery. Mena explains that this concert is about encouraging the audience to “taste the light of the paintings, see the scent of their harmonies and listen to the brilliance of emptiness...”
