Bozar Next Generation

After playing to rapturous applause at major concert halls in his native Turkey, the young piano prodigy Emre Yavuz went on to win a series of international prizes, including the Internationaler Wiener Pianisten-Wettbewerb in 2016. A dedicated chambrist, he founded the   Geistesblitz Trio that quickly made a name for itself with an atypical programming.  An originality that earned him the First Prize at the Kissinger Klavierolymp in 2017. It is also a very varied programme that he will be bringing to BOZAR, one that cuts across time and borders, ranging from Rameau to his own compositions, and from Scarlatti to Ahmet Adnan Saygun and including Schubert, Saint-Saëns and Rachmaninov.
