Goran Bregovic gets temperatures rising to intolerable heights. This time he does it not just with top 10 hits such as Gas, Gas. He also performs some new compositions and famous tracks with a crazy twist. You will become acquainted with his sources of inspiration: the melancholy folk music known as Sevdah, played by the group Divanhana from Sarajevo, fresh improvisations with a traditional touch by the Nathan Daems Karsilama Quintet and music and dance from the Bulgarian folklore Ensemble Botevgrad. Kesaj Tchavé and DJ Elemér show you what they’re made of and the stirring rhythms of Bregovic’s lively brassband prove a welcome addition.
