Five Israeli citizens discover one morning via the media that they are the principal suspects in the kidnapping of an Iranian politician in Moscow. Inspired by the assassination of the leader of Hamas in Dubai in 2010, False Flag – which has already been acquired for a US remake – immerses the viewer in the shady world of spying and double-agents, with a tension that manages to retain a degree of irony, all performed with incredible virtuosity.
