‘The Half Circus – Piovenefabi’

Fascinated by the stage, Léger worked with directors, choreographers and composers. A lifelong passion that saw him contribute to around 10 creations, designing sets and costumes for ballets and operas, and dreaming of creating a travelling scenic space.   It was from the circus in particular that he drew inspiration. In homage to Fernand Leger, BOZAR asked Piovenefabi to create a circus tent. In 2017, this architecture and design office produced five pavilions in five Brussels parks and at the main site of the Parckdesign Festival.

This tent will come to life thanks to several circus schools but also for the BOZAR programming.
