Anya’s life appears to be on the up, she has just taken out a mortgage for the dream apartment where she will live with her 10-year-old daughter, Katia. By a sudden turn of events Anya finds herself facing a dilemma that makes her question society’s lack of morals, and upends her own.

Christina Tynkevych’s first feature is a confident, intense work of cinema, helped by the magnetic performance from Anastasia Karpenko as Anya.

Christina Tynkevych grew up in Kyiv, Ukraine. She holds a film degree from the University of the Arts and the University of Westminster (London, UK) and is a MIDPOINT Institute alumna. Christina has directed two short films and a feature documentary. Yak Tam Katia?
