The Idiots - Lars Von Trier

12 + 13

The small town of Sollerod is shaken by the arrival of a motley band of newcomers. Wherever they go, they pretend to be people with intellectual disabilities. By letting their “inner fool” take over, they seek to build a better world. Within this group, Stoffer quickly establishes himself as a power-hungry leader. He pushes the others to go beyond all limits, both sexually and psychologically. Will they be willing to follow him all the way and leave their old lives behind for good?
