Jlin & Third Coast Percussion

GRAMMY Award-winning Third Coast Percussion and Pulitzer Prize finalist Jlin join forces in a unique concert celebrating their decade-long collaboration. The percussion ensemble and our featured artist of the season first met on Chicago’s storied music scene. At the time, Third Coast Percussion was among the first to perform Jlin’s acoustic compositions, after she had made her name in the world of electronic music. Following a set by Third Coast Percussion including music by Jlin, the artist herself steps forward with electronics. Finally, a brand-new piece brings all five musicians together on stage. A fresh sonic universe is born!
