2 Feb.'24
- 19:00

Since her debut at the age of 18, musician and activist Joan Baez has been on stage for more than 60 years. The film follows the now 82-year-old singer on her farewell tour through America and Europe. Baez candidly takes stock of her life, from her involvement in the civil rights movement to her friendship with Martin Luther King and her heartbreaking romance with Bob Dylan. The film weaves together a wealth of previously unseen archival footage with conversations and behind-the-scenes moments. A tribute to an icon.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with director Maeve O'Boyle.

The film will play in cinemas from February 7.
