Building Bridges : Sir András Schiff presents young pianists
Thanks to the Building Bridges project initiated by András Schiff, a number of the Hungarian master's outstanding pupils have been invited to perform in leading concert halls. BOZAR has joined in and now welcomes Julian Clef to its main auditorium, the Henry Le Boeuf Hall. This young Indian prodigy, who only began to take formal piano lessons at the age of sixteen, has already given a number of recitals, in his homeland, in the United Kingdom, and at major international festivals around Europe. On first hearing his interpretation of Beethoven's "Appassionata", Schiff declared that "his performance deeply moved me."
