Gidon Kremer's birthday concert

On 27 February, Gidon Kremer will be 68. To celebrate the day with you, he has invited one of his closest friends and partners in music, the pianist Martha Argerich. In this festive concert, she will play Shostakovich's First Concerto for Piano, Trumpet, and Strings, a work she knows well and of which she is particularly fond. She will be joined on solo trumpet by the gifted Sergei Nakariakov. Expect some brilliant fireworks.
