‘LaBOLA. La Ribot Ensemble’

Discover LaBOLA, a performance under the direction of La Ribot, the artist, dancer and choreographer who was awarded the Golden Lion for her entire career at the Venice Dance Biennale in 2020. In a permanent spiral movement, three performers exchange clothes, give life to objects and deal with the present moment and its accidents. Fleeting images, created on the spot, emerge in a constantly changing play of colours and registers. Greek mythology, surrealist painting, the aesthetics of punk musicians and the experiences of human life are called upon to open up an infinite field of imagination. This performance, created in Madrid in 2022, finds its new home in Bozar's Horta Hall, as part of the Opening Week and the exhibitions Antoni Tàpies: The Practice of Art and The Harlem Fantasy '82.
