What's the story, Laurie?
She is an icon of the New York avant-garde in the 70s, and the composer of extraordinary albums and at least one worldwide hit (O Superman). She is an experimental performer and a visual artist, but also a director, an inventor, and so much more. And now, as part of the Ars Musica festival, Laurie Anderson heads to Bozar for some multidisciplinary fireworks. The programme includes her VR installation To the Moon – made with the help of expert Hsin-Chien Huang; the screening of her two films Home of the Brave and Heart of a Dog. There are also two concerts: the world premiere of All the Animals with the Brussels Philharmonic, and as a duo with cellist Rubin Kodheli, or rather a trio, starring Artificial Intelligence (AI).
