After La Panthère des Neiges, Vincent Munier takes us to the heart of the Vosges forests. It is here that he learned everything from his father, Michel Munier, a naturalist who spent his life observing wildlife in silence. Now, the time has come for them to pass on this knowledge to Simon, Vincent’s son. Three people, three generations, united by a shared fascination with the natural world. Together, they observe red deer, rare birds, foxes and lynx… and sometimes the elusive beat of a legendary wing: that of the capercaillie.
Vincent Munier, born on 14 April 1976 in Épinal, is a French wildlife photographer. He has received several awards at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. As a filmmaker, he won the César Award for Best Documentary twice: for La Panthère des Neiges in 2022 and for Le Chant des Forêts in 2026.
