Beethoven 6 & 7

Music is an invitation to travel, in space but also in time! Jordi Savall has been a major figure in the musical scene for over half a century. Known from the outset for his talent on the viola da gamba and his innovative approach to early music, he continued his career right up to the early days of Romanticism. In this concert, he leads his ensemble on period instruments, Le Concert des Nations, and offers us his vision of Beethoven’s Symphonies No. 6 and No. 7. The programme includes two masterpieces of the repertoire, and a sensitive and informed approach, which does not hesitate to use Beethoven's own manuscripts when it comes to restoring the music of this giant its original character. A rare opportunity to discover Beethoven's music in a different way!
