It takes a village to raise a child. The child is called Odd Numbers / Số Lẻ and is the latest album by Brussels-based producer and musician Le Motel. In 2023, he travelled to Vietnam to gather sound and video material, meanwhile building a network with local musicians. Back home, the real work began: compiling everyday sounds - from the whisper of rain to the din of kitchens - and music fragments into songs. The album is a collaborative project, a living travel journal. Exclusively for Bozar, Le Motel reworks his album into a live AV show with guest musicians Yvonne Quỳnh-Lan Dương, Mai Thành Nam and Antoine Jaunard. A world premiere on the border between traditional Vietnamese music and ambient.
