‘Leonardo 4 Children 2023: Climate, Equality & Peace’

The "Leonardo 4 Children 2023" concert includes classical musical compositions from Rossini, Vivaldi, Haendel, Mascagni, L. van Beethoven, L. Boccherini, N. Paganini and C. Saint Saens. These will be played by young extraordinary music talents: Orchestra Elite Ensemble from Varese directed by maestro Carlo Taffuri, the exceptional violinist Anastasiya Petryshak, the sopranos Olga Artemenko and Anastasia Varga, the theatre group Le Piccole Canaglie and the Children’s choir from European School Brussels Uccle directed by Pablo Garcia. The purpose of the concert & award ceremony is to celebrate the winners of the “Leonardo 4 Children” 2023 Awards, to promote young music talent and raise fubds for the support of education and social integration of Ukrainian children via UNICEF, to help them overcome the post-traumatic stress of the war and the displacement.  The event has been granted the patronage of the European Parliament, Unesco, the Embassy of Italy in Belgium, European Economic and Social Committee, Committee of The Regions, Italian Institute of Culture and Lombardy Region."
