For their much-anticipated visit to Bozar, Valery Gergiev and the famous Mariinsky Orchestra take us on an imaginary journey. In this symphonic concert, you will follow a faun in his reveries to the gentle strains of Debussy, you will encounter Berlioz’s nightmarish vision of impossible love translated into symphony, and finally, you will meet a puppet, suddenly endowed with life, through a music composed by Stravinsky for the ballet Petrushka of the famous Ballets Russes. This most inspiring programme of French-Russian music will fill your ears with colourful sounds, and your mind with fabulous images.
