EM2N (°1997, CH) is an architectural practice based in Zurich and Berlin, founded by Mathias Müller and Daniel Niggli. It mainly develops projects in Switzerland, implementing numerous conversions. Their projects include the Toni-Areal and the arches of the viaduct in Zurich, and the Natural History Museum and State Archives in Basel. In Belgium, the office is currently leading the project for the KANAL museum in Brussels, in collaboration with Sergison Bates architects and noA architecten.
EM2N embraces the living complexity and constant development of the city. The practice approaches architecture with a thoughtful balance of critical awareness and optimistic ambition, while always respecting the historical context that shapes the present.
