In collaboration with feminist film journal Another Gaze, Bozar presents an evening with Iranian artist, producer and filmmaker Bani Khoshnoudi. The programme includes the screening of her two films Cem and The Silent Majority Speaks, followed by her performance lecture Here and There : Minutes on the New Iranian Revolution. The artist will spend a moment conversing with the audience at the end of the event.

Bani Khoshnoudi is an Iranian-born, Texan-raised filmmaker. Her films and documentaries have been screened internationally and received many awards. In addition to filmmaking, she experiments with video and sound installations. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. She directed Ziba (2012) and the experimental mid-length film Transits: Our Traces, Our Ruin (2016) combined with a live dance performance. The artist is based in Mexico City, where she also made her second feature film Fireflies (2018).
