‘Meet the Thinker: Kenan Malik’

- 19:00

Kenan Malik is a prominent British intellectual, media personality, writer and columnist for The Guardian and The New York Times. He regularly lectures on multiculturalism and the place of particularistic identities in society.

Is white privilege real? Why has left-wing antisemitism grown? Who benefits most when anti-racists speak in racial terms? Malik tackles these questions in his latest book Not So Black and White (C Hurst & Co), questions with which the Western world grapples in heated debates that often lack in historical perspective. He will help us to better understand the key issues in a modern society too often plagued by cultural relativism.
