‘Meet the Thinker: Vinciane Despret’

23 Feb.'23
- 18:30

Drawing on the eco-philosophy of Isabelle Stengers and Bruno Latour, the work of Vinciane Despret strives to articulate philosophy and ethology. Having written several books on animals (What would animals say if we asked the right questions? And, more recently, Living as a Bird), in her next book she focuses on another theme close to her heart: the relationship between the living and the dead, which she previously already addressed in Our Grateful Dead. In Les morts à l'œuvre (published by Empêcheurs de penser en rond), she explains how the dead can help the living to transform the world. Vinciane Despret will be interviewed by Béatrice Delvaux, editorialist at Le Soir
