After two sold-out shows in Belgium (at AB and De Roma) in 2025 following the release of their latest album, 2026 will be marked by another very special milestone for the Scots. Indeed, Mogwai will celebrate 30 years as a band – and they fully intend to mark the occasion in style. The group will hit the road once again with a brand-new anniversary tour entitled Mogwai 30, meeting their Belgian fans on Friday 13 November 2026 at the prestigious Henry Le Bœuf Hall at Bozar.
Formed in Glasgow in 1995, Mogwai consists of Stuart Braithwaite (guitar and vocals), Barry Burns (guitar, piano, synthesiser and vocals), Dominic Aitchison (bass) and Martin Bulloch (drums). Since the release of their very first single Tuner in 1996 on their own label Rock Action Records, followed by their debut album Young Team in 1997, the band have steadily built a formidable reputation on the international scene. Today they are widely regarded as one of the founding pillars of the British underground music scene.
Their outstanding discography has earned the respect and admiration of their peers while gathering a loyal audience across the globe. Mogwai remain as passionate, innovative and unstoppable as ever, as evidenced by their more recent releases such as As The Love Continues (2021), which reached number one on the UK Official Albums Chart, received a nomination for the Mercury Prize and won the Scottish Album of the Year Award. To date, the Scots have performed countless concerts and released eleven studio albums. Their most recent record, The Bad Fire, released last year, has enjoyed strong critical and commercial success. This enthusiasm is equally palpable in Belgium, where the band consistently play to sold-out venues.
Mogwai will therefore take over the magnificent Henry Le Bœuf Hall at Bozar for an evening that promises to capture the full intensity of their musical universe. A rare opportunity to be carried away by both their new compositions and their classics, in a setting as majestic as it is inspiring, and to celebrate three decades of musical exploration.
