The Mole

Vica Pacheco

Vica Pacheco is a musician and visual artist born in Mexico but living and working in Brussels. Her installations combine experimental music with animation films and sound performances. Even the musical instruments are made by her. For this concert Pacheco will create a live improvised set to accompany the animation films of Czech painter and illustrator Zdeněk Miler with hand built ceramic instruments. His silent films of O krtkovi (The little mole) follow the many poetic adventures in the forest together with his animal friends. The distinct visual style of these films still manages to amaze audiences of all ages today due to their universal themes and imaginative storytelling.

This year, Bozar is bringing this show back as a school performance for Year 2 and Year 3 nursery school pupils. It’s the perfect opportunity for a first visit to Bozar.

For pupils, this concert is a unique opportunity to:
-Have their first concert experience.
-Be introduced to improvised music.
-Enjoy the cheerful adventures of the little mole.
-Stimulate their imagination by embarking on a musical adventure.
