Music : Kumar et Afrikun (contemporary urban music)

Afrikun is the result of the collaboration of three young Afro-Cubans: MC, Kumar Sublevao-Beat and Machete Horns. They invite you on a voyage into the past through the music of the future. The Afrikun project brings together drum machines, synthesisers, horns, percussion and traditional instruments. It is the result of Africa’s extremely rich, diverse musical heritage. The experimental and spiritual nature of their music is nothing less than a journey through the ancestral musical imagination of Africa, understood as a continually creative continent.
