‘National Orchestra of Belgium’

BOZAR celebrates the beginning of the Latvian presidency of the Council of the European Union and welcomes for the first time the mezzo Elîna Garanèa, one of the most charismatic artists of her generation. For the occasion, she presents a musical journey across Europe and through different musical eras, from the France of Berlioz to the Russia of Tchaikovsky via the contemporary Latvia of Dzenitis and E?envalds. A varied programme that will give full scope to the powerful stage presence and extraordinary vocal range of the Latvian star, who will be accompanied by the National Orchestra of Belgium.
