Russian virtuosity and magic
The concerto Shostakovich wrote for his renowned colleague Mstislav Rostropovich will be played by Truls Mørk, one of the outstanding cellists of our time, together with the National Orchestra of Belgium. After the interval: Tchaikovsky’s suite drawn from his Sleeping Beauty, in the version by Mikhail Pletnev, a good friend of Andrey Boreyko.
