‘Orchestra dell' Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia’

The Belgian public has a particular soft spot for Antonio Pappano, former music director of the Brussels opera house, who returns to our country on a regular basis. This time, he will be here with "his" Orchestra dell' Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia for a tribute to Schumann, a number of whose works he conducted in his previous concert at the Centre, two years ago. As the cherry on the cake - and a special one, at that - he will also treat us to the sumptuous Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, for which he is joined by the excellent Dutch violinist Janine Jansen, who has also delighted BOZAR music-lovers on many occasions.
