Thierry De Mey has been exploring the relationship between dance and music ever since the 1980s. In the light of his burning enthusiasm for the ballets of Ravel and Debussy, he has made three films about their works, choreographed primarily by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. At the controls of the video stream the artist directs his films on the basis of a total interaction with the orchestra. Meanwhile, Claude Ledoux’s new piece pays tribute to the Asian flute, the "shakuhachi ".
