Organ Night

19 May'27
- 18:00

Curation Bernard Foccroulle, Benoît Mernier

Organ Night sees a selection of leading organists fill the cathedral with spellbinding performances. Using repetition as a recurring theme, they showcase the instrument’s almost infinite richness – from the drones and flowing arpeggios of modern and contemporary repertoire to the ostinatos and canons of early music. Infinity Gradient by Tristan Perich provides an unforgettable finale. The American composer places a hundred homemade 1-bit speakers opposite the organ, creating a colourful and transcendent duet.
