Bozar Bassment #6
Bozar Bassment pushes the boundaries of electronic and experimental music. Unusual international and local artists team up to shake the foundations of the Centre for Fine Arts. Below street-level, they present brand-new material in genre-defying live performances with visuals.

Late Bush
In his work, Late Bush combines elements that create a strange sensation: something familiar, almost recognizable, yet at the same time displaced and altered. At Bozar, he presents Hoarses solo, blending electronic music (power ambient, IDM, avant-pop) and early music. These two worlds share the same affective intensity, a taste for ornamentation and a form of sonic excess. On the album, strings recorded with Echo Collective contrast with AI-cloned voices, both human and spectral.

Osmium
OSMIUM is a collaboration between Icelandic composer and cellist Hildur Guðnadóttir, James Ginzburg (emptyset, Subtext), Rully Shabara (Senyawa), and producer and sound designer Sam Slater. Driven by questions around the relationship between humans and machines, tradition and progress, individual and collective expression, OSMIUM channel their experience into a set of forward-thinking sonic interrogations. The music draws from folk, doom metal, 20th-century minimalism, industrial, and extreme noise, yet never settles fully into any genre. OSMIUM forges burnished electroacoustic soundscapes with metallic drones, barbed rhythms, and bio-mechanical vocalizations, channeling a viscous, unorthodox flow of sonic speculation.
