A Parked Life is a hypnotic film that takes you into the life of one of the countless Eastern European lorry drivers who live as highway nomads in Western Europe. In this intimate portrait, a young father sees the cracks in his marriage on his smartphone as he watches Europe fall apart through the windshield of his lorry.

Peter Triest (born 1973) is a film-maker, historian and copywriter. After studying film at the RITCS in Brussels, he studied history. His debut film Out of the Desert (2016) premiered at the Arizona International Film Festival and was shown at the Belgian Film Festival in Utrecht, among other venues.

The director will give an introduction before the screening and an afterword will follow.
