For this project, the Belgian jazz saxophonist Pierre Vaiana teams up with the talented young Haitian singer Tamara Suffren. A first rate band comprising Pierre Vaiana, Pascal Mogy (piano), Nicolas Thys (double bass) and Michel Seba (percussion accompanying Tamara on her journey through tropical waters, as she sings the poetry of James Noël, Georges Castera and Syto Cavé in Haitian Creole. Tamara Suffren’s warm and deep voice transports us to a new musical universe with ingredients such as Creole jazz, swinging rhythms and blues.
