Plein Soleil is the solo moniker of Jonathan Grandcollot, better known until now as the drummer from Société Étrange and Pan Pan Pan. Still stationed behind the drum kit, Plein Soleil’s unmissable live sets see Grandcollot’s trademark rhythms embellished with layers of electronic sequencing. Part-man, part-drum machine, this tribal music fanatic – signed to Mus Joutra – will leave you dumbstruck by his displays of percussive virtuosity.
