A plusieurs pratiques collaboratives de la photographie

Although often thought of as an individual practice, photography is nevertheless always the result of a multitude of actions which, from the moment the photographer encounters the subject right through to the final stages of production, constitute a collective endeavour.

This lecture (in French) aims to explore the history of photography through this lens, paying particular attention to contemporary practices, where collaboration has become one of the main driving forces behind photographic creation. Through various examples — artist collectives, participatory initiatives, community projects and self-representation projects — the aim is to examine photography as a space for encounter, sharing and co-creation, capable of producing new forms of collective narratives and challenging the notion of the isolated author.
