‘The portrait’

Enjoy a literary evening based around the portrait in literature, drawing and music. FACES THEN/FACES NOW, BOZAR’s diptych exhibition, inspired the magazine DW&B to bring out a special edition full of literary portraits. Flemish and Dutch authors, musicians and artists bring these portraits to life during a literary evening, in the course of which we will also be celebrating 160 years of DWB. Maud Vanhauwaert is our host for the evening. Bart Meuleman, Ester Naomi Perquin, Bernard Dewulf and Leo Pleysier perform, Jeroen Janssen sketches the portraits as they are read out and Helmut Lotti puts them to music. The evening will also include the final of the literary selfie competition.
