Inspired by the global phenomenon of military wives choirs, The Singing Club follows a group of women living in isolation on a military base while their husbands are on a mission in Afghanistan. To surmount their worries they band together for emotional support in a choir, which leads to some unexpected friendships as the power of music changes their daily lives forever.
 

Peter Cattaneo (1964) is an English filmmaker best known for directing the British film The Full Monty.
